About The Hong Kong Association of Private Practice Optometrists          

The Hong Kong Association of Private Practice Optometrists (HKAPPO) was established on November 1, 1999 with the objectives:

• To promote primary care optometry to the public
• To raise the standard of eye care in Hong Kong
• To maintain the highest standard of professional competence and conduct
• To protect the interests of private practice practitioners and to increase their competitiveness, public status and prestige

Vision :

Optometry is the number ONE choice in primary eye care
Optometrists are the best primary eye care providers
